The jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita was given to mankind by ancient sages and Rishis belonging to erstwhile Bharatvarsha (now India) but its practice is more prevalent in developed countries than India. Indians have a habit of preaching but not following the dictum. We tend to preach what we do not follow ourselves. The glowing faces of people in West say it all.
The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita primarily says that human beings must live for welfare of mankind at large. The doctrine of “live and let live” was given by Mahavira to mankind. But how many people in Jainism religion followed it themselves. We thought something else but blurted out something different and everything reflected on our face. We were not clean from within. We were not practicing Bhagavad Gita in toto. We all the time followed religious practices (rituals) and called it spirituality.
How long shall we continue to make fool of ourselves! Whenever someone dies in India, one goes to swarga (Heaven) or Brahma Loka (Vaikuntha). In the last about 150 years amongst 1300 million people existing in India only Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana finally made to Vaikuntha (kingdom of God) after reaching stage of enlightenment and moksha salvation. We do not want to realize that enlightenment moksha salvation was not that easily achieved.
For how long people of India would keep practicing religion in name of spirituality! When shall the faces of Indians glow like people in West! How long shall we keep waiting for Kalki avatar to come and re-establish Dharma (righteousness)! In United States of America situation like Kali Yuga does not exist. They do not know what Kali Yuga is. They never wait for a messiah, savior to come and improve the working conditions of the country as a whole. They do it themselves. The perfect law and order, the infrastructure could not be beaten by any.
Indians could have replicated all but did not. The revolution in India has to be caused by individuals alone. And the biggest revolution has to come within only then we can expect a revolution outside.
