Hinduism categorizes life into four stages of life… Brahmacharya, Grihastha… Vanaprastha and sanyasa!
The Grihastha ashram (married life) is most troublesome if we get a partner opposite of what we expected. Life becomes almost unlivable with a grumbling partner. It is this period that hurt the most.
The Brahmacharya stage… life as a child, a teenager… a student was most lively.
The Vanaprastha state when children are settled in life is also comparatively a happy state as we get to enjoy the love of grandchildren.
The sanyasa state again is a happy state of life as one was immersed in state of meditation, contemplation most of time.
