In the field of pure spirituality Mahavira (24th Tirthankara of Jainism, preceptor) rightly said… do not preach unless you become an enlightened one! In the field of spirituality there could never be any teacher, one could only act as a guide and that too indirectly.
In search of a spiritual teacher, master from six years of age after umpteen attempts I failed to get one. It was only then I realized that teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana did not die with these enlightened souls and were rightly available before me all the time.
It was by indulgence in teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana that I finally succeeded in reaching God in the wee hours of third of August 1993 37 years of age. I almost duplicated the path of self enquiry (Neti… not this, not this) practiced and advocated by Maharishi Ramana.
My indulgence in yoga meditation always was through path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning! Furthermore, I did not limit myself to teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana alone. Whoever came my way… whether a Christian clergy or a Muslim Maulvi, whatever little one had to give… I always accepted it with folded hands! I accepted only those precepts of spirituality that seemed right after logical reasoning!
In field of pure spirituality I had no limitations ever. Everyone from different walks of life… different religions, faiths and beliefs was welcome. I tested each and every statement on altar of absolute truth.
