The Purpose of Life is Manifest in Bhagavad Gita

The purpose of life is manifest in Bhagavad Gita. Human life was the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle. The ultimate purpose of life as detailed by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita was… gaining emancipation from cycle of birth and death at the earliest… becoming a pure soul atman forever!

As per Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a spirit, consciousness existing in our heart and not a manifest physical human form. As a soul atman we manifest a body to cleanse self of dross impurities within. Indulging in spirituality, yoga meditation human beings finally succeed in reaching stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation. Dross impurities within removed forever, the need for a pure soul atman to manifest a body any further ceases to exist. The liberated soul atman finally enters abode of God, kingdom of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism)… a point of no return!

Enlightenment was not that easy to achieve. God Almighty ordained a long journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form to reach stage of enlightenment. We could do it now in present life or leave it for future manifestations. If we leave it for future manifestations… we would endlessly keep rotating in the cycle of birth and death. If we desire becoming free forever, our indulgence in spirituality… path of yoga meditation as detailed in Bhagavad Gita was an absolute must. None could gain enlightenment indulging in religious practices (rituals).
