If working hard weighed that much then every daily wager should have been rich by now. It was not only hard work that mattered in success, more important was our goal in life. In absence of goal we frittered all our energies in trivial activities of life. When we had a definite goal in life, we could channelize all our energies behind that single goal of life. Furthermore we could channelize sexual energy (the most potent of all energies made available to mankind by grace of God Almighty) to manifest absolute success in life. This is not a statement by a practical advice. I did it and reached the absolute goal of life.
Apart from hard work there were many other factors that contributed towards success. By hit and trial we could find out and indulge in only those precepts that were helpful in gaining absolute success in life.
Thomas Alva Edison never cribbed when he failed. He succeeded in discovering incandescent bulb after 10,000 attempts. For him every single failure was a stepping stone to success. He revisited the whole procedure to find his mistakes and never repeat them again.
