In all earnestness we could rightly say that commentaries on Bhagavad Gita from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India were by far the best in India, available as of today. Commentaries by Jayadayal Goyandka, Swami Ramsukhdas and Hanuman Prasad Poddar were exemplary but nothing was better than commentary by Adi Shankaracharya. The books were not only subsidized but contained truth and only truth.
