Travelling Spiritual Path as per Bhagavad Gita Human Beings reached Higher Consciousness

Can spiritual experiences ever be defined in words? Experiences of spiritual path were beyond comprehension of words. They can only be realized. The stage of ecstasy (bliss) can only be realized, never detailed in words. By travelling spiritual path as detailed in Bhagavad Gita when human beings reached higher levels of consciousness we felt we had consumed a bottle of finest Scotch whiskey available in world. Spiritual travelers were always vegetarians, teetotalers.

Higher the level of consciousness experienced, greater the stage of bliss, absolute calm within. Higher levels of consciousness can be reached by travelling path of yoga meditation as detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. The highest stage of consciousness means becoming an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina… a Mahavira forever.

Path of yoga meditation demands our travelling path of pure spirituality. We were primarily a spiritual being undertaking cosmic journey. As a soul atman we manifested human form to work out our karma, remove dross impurities within. To negate karma within, our indulgence in path of nishkama karma yoga was necessitated. Offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time is what nishkama karma all about. We were primarily a custodian, trustee, caretaker taking care of things that already belonged to God Almighty. By subduing our ego in totality (Aham in Hinduism) we finally emancipated self from cycle of birth and death forever. We finally become a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life.

Path of spirituality was difficult to travel but not impossible. Pilgrimages, fasting, going to temples, churches and mosques formed part of religious routines of life having nothing to do with pure spirituality. We must learn to identify difference between religion and spirituality. One never reached god via path of religion (path of rituals). God can only be reached through path of contemplation, self enquiry, logical reasoning.
