In search of a spiritual master from six years of age I finally found that none in this world paralleled teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. If I could just follow Bhagavad Gita somehow! As nothing in Bhagavad Gita could be understood literally I started my indulgence with contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning to reach hidden truths of life contained in Bhagavad Gita.
In my spiritual travail I also realized that Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana succeeded in reaching stage of enlightenment in their lifetime. No matter how best I searched I could not get a physical spiritual master to guide me in the journey of life. I started my indulgence in books relating to both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana.
My indulgence in books was always through path of contemplation. Just because Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana said so, I did not accept even a single word. I contemplated again and again until I reached the hidden underlying meaning. The same happened with Bhagavad Gita. I did not believe a single word of Lord Krishna until I contemplated and reached the hidden underlying meaning.
Following teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita, literature of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana… In the wee hours of third of August 1993 I finally realized God.
