The battle of Mahabharata was no ordinary battle… it was a war meant to re-establish Dharma (righteousness). In the Kaurava camp guru Dronacharya asked for Gurudakshina from Eklavya for no services rendered by him to Eklavya. Furthermore he sided, Kauravas who were evil from the beginning. His death at the hand of Pandavas was imminent.
Karna, no matter what the disdain agreed to help Kaurava camp in the battle of Mahabharata. He sided evil and finally got punished in the end.
Duryodhana from the beginning was an evil minded person. His death at the hands of Pandavas was also imminent.
Even Bhishma Pitamah committed a felony when Draupadi was disrobed in his presence. He eventually died at the hands of Pandavas.
All the soldiers in Kaurava camp sided with evil. In a battle of Dharma (righteousness) death of all was the only solution.
Lord Krishna from the beginning was an upright person… an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form). In the sermon of Bhagavad Gita given to Arjuna Lord Krishna clearly says, to eliminate adharma (lawlessness) if a few are eliminated… then no sin is committed!
We could never perceive Lord Krishna and Pandava camp in wrong perspective! If Dharma was to be re-established, then whatever Pandavas indulged in was truthfully right.
