Faith was quite distinct from path of prayers. Unless one had absolute faith in God, one could never indulge in prayers! In difficult times it was our willpower that manifests itself. Prayers affirmed our faith in God. Prayers were a medium to connect with God. Through medium of prayers we exerted on God Almighty to soothe our sufferings.
