As per Bhagavad Gita and also Swami Vivekananda any human being can reach enlightenment stage of life. Every single human being on mother earth had the divinity within to reach stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.
Enlightenment can be gained by travelling path of spirituality never religion (path of rituals).
