God/Consciousness sleeps in the rock: this quote explains the initial stage of soul atman after origin of cosmos through big bang. In absence of life supporting planets like mother earth, all souls’ atmans remained inert like presence of a diamond in a block of rock.
God/Consciousness dreams in the plant: no sooner life evolved on mother earth, a soul atman initially manifests form of amoeba (single cell formation), the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle. It further evolves into multi-cell formation, then insect life… plant life! Within the plant, the soul atman is still dreaming and unable to walk, manifests like an animal!
God/Consciousness stirs in the animal: no sooner a soul atman manifests animal form for the first time… it stirs from within… it was not inert, static (rooted) like a tree but could move about!
God/Consciousness awakens in the man: all human beings evolved from the stage of animals. The moment our soul atman manifests human form for the first time… the soul atman awakens from within realizing that it could reach its zenith of life, finally emancipate forever from cycle of birth and death. The moment human beings realize full spiritual awakening, the cosmic journey of life for soul atman comes to an end.
