Spiritual enlightenment demands our indulgence in yoga meditation. The process of yoga meditation demands our traveling path of jnana yoga and jnana yoga demands our indulgence in contemplation to reach hidden underlying cosmic truths of life contained in scriptures of different religions of world. Contemplation though part of thinking process relates more to questioning than answers. Contemplation in conjunction with introspection… logical reasoning led human beings towards absolute answers.
Because Lord Krishna says so or Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana said so was never acceptable to me. I used to think why Lord Krishna, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana were saying so. I had to reach the cause for the same, the cause for their saying! Sometimes in hours, sometimes days… sometimes months and sometimes many years later I got the answers! Contemplation is really a very long drawn process. People do not have patience of hours, how could they wait for years? For some answers I waited for as long as 15 years and then the answer automatically dawned on me. So subtle are the ways of God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism).
I used to thrash queries after queries until I reached the hidden underlying meaning. Lying in shavasna pose of yoga when going to bed in night I used to call a roundtable conference consisting of Lord Krishna, Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Maharishi Ramana and other enlightened souls etc. In the morning when I got up, all my queries had resolved forever. Next day the same roundtable conference and a new set of queries!
I never took anything on face value, not even once in my lifetime! Indulgence in contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning was my forte from six years of age. I could never forget my dialogues with my grandfather at about six years of age. I put some queries to him and he was dumbfounded… could not reply my queries!
