Believing in Sakaar form of God (having a form) stems from ignorance! We are primarily a spiritual being, a spirit manifesting human form. When we ourselves were spirit, consciousness… how could God Almighty have a form? As detailed in Bhagavad Gita God (Brahman) always was Nirakaar in form (having no form). The collective primordial cosmic energy, the sum total of all souls’ atmans in cosmos in their pure form is what we called God Almighty in all its glory. This explanation of God is detailed in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent treatises) and Vedas (Hinduism revelations).
Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita explicitly says we must offer all our prayers, worship directly to Brahman (the one and only God) and never attributes of God Almighty… hordes of gods and goddesses!
