It is not the human body but our soul atman, the consciousness within that manifests human form. The entire timeline of 8.4 million manifestations in the life of a soul atman was one single span of life… totally unbroken, uninterrupted! After death of human body the released soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start a new journey of life. This cycle of life continues body after body, manifestation after manifestation until human beings gained enlightenment in their lifetime.
The moment human beings reached stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation… the human body is left behind forever. The liberated soul atman enters kingdom of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism).
A soul atman manifests a body for the first time when life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system. The soul atman initially manifests form of amoeba (single cell formation) and further evolves into multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life and finally manifests human form. Before manifesting human form for the first time our soul atman had already manifested 7.3 million bodies in insect, plant and animal life. In the remaining 1.1 million manifestations in human form one was expected to reach stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation!
