All holy books pertaining to any religion do not advocate any violence, unethical or immoral practices. It was simply the work of some misguided religious pundits who for their vested interests interpreted the Holy Scriptures differently, only to appease the gullible masses.
If we indulged in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent treatises)… even Vedas, other than gaining enlightenment in present life… these scriptures had nothing more to convey! The fault rested with interpreters, ill informed preachers… misguided pundits of present era.
All the violence killings, we presently see in the name of religion was a doing of some disgruntled fanatics who had nothing to do with actual religion. It is for the masses to indulge, differentiate facts from untruths. All holy books lead towards God. It was how we interpreted it.
