We must try to understand the basic precept of spirituality. It was our soul atman that manifesting human form. The physical entity of present life does not carry to next manifestation. Body after body, manifestation after manifestation a soul atman keeps changing forms. One who is our son in present life could be our granddaughter in future manifestations. We as a grandfather could be born a son to our grandson. Any conceivable relationship was possible based on bondage of karma. It is karmic bondage that decides our next manifestation, the next relationship! The closing balance of present life (the residual balance of karma at the time of death) becomes the opening balance for next manifestation.
