If we desire everything going right in present life irrespective of the fact that our goal of life was spiritual or materialistic… indulgence in prayer, remembering god intermittently was only a means to ask forgiveness from God for sins committed knowingly or unknowingly in day-to-day routines of life.
If we think we were perfect in life, we had nothing to offer to God or ask anything from God… then indulgence in prayers, remembering God was not necessitated. We must never indulge in religious routines (rituals)… a simple wastage of time!
All my life from six years of age I never indulged in religious practices (rituals), yet 31 years of indulgence in yoga meditation, path of spirituality landed me in laps of God Almighty in the wee hours of third of August 1993 37 years of age. This is my last manifestation on mother earth, 8.4 millionth manifestation! In pursuit of God I never felt indulging in religious routines ever.
But from six years of age I had 100% faith in God and for welfare of entire mankind I often indulged in prayers to God. For my individual self or my family I never indulged in prayers whatsoever.
If we do not offer prayers to God or remember god at any given moment of life… our spiritual journey would continue as a routine. It was just like climbing Empire State building via steps. If we desire expediting the journey via elevator, our indulgence in prayers was necessitated.
