My Primary Teacher for Indulgence in Yoga Meditation was Maharishi Ramana Master of Art of Self Enquiry Neti not this not this

My primary teacher for indulgence in yoga meditation was Maharishi Ramana, master of art of self enquiry (Neti… not this, not this). Lying in shavasna pose of yoga Maharishi Ramana indulged in practice of Neti, self enquiry most of time! I practically duplicated his path.

My secondary master was path of contemplation through which I could realize abstract cosmic truths of life contained in scriptures of different religions of world. In absence of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning nothing worthwhile could be achieved in the field of pure spirituality.

Meditation was never about sitting in a darkened room or in a hall concentrating on nothing! Yoga meditation was indulged via path of contemplation as detailed in Bhagavad Gita and various other scriptures of Hinduism.

All my life from six years of age I indulged in contemplation during my morning jogging (getting up at Brahma muhurta was my forte), walking, swimming, indulging in business… rather any activity of life! Practically I could say I indulged in contemplation 24 x 7 x 365.
