Allegorically Lord Krishna represents soul atman, consciousness existing in human body. In absence of soul atman the physical manifest body carried no meaning. Lord Krishna is always depicted as sarthi (charioteer) of the chariot (human body) belonging to Arjuna. In absence of sarthi, the journey of human life (the chariot) would become meaningless. The character of Lord Krishna has a very deep connotation. Only a serious traveler of spiritual path would realize, conceptualize character of Lord Krishna in Mahabharata. Through story of Mahabharata and Lord Krishna the ongoing battle between godly and vicious forces of nature in human character is depicted.
Every second thousands of positive and negative thoughts flowed through our brain. Maintaining a delicate balance between the two calls for highest level of patience, persistence and perseverance on part of human beings! By indulging in Bhagavad Gita, the character of Lord Krishna we could understand, rather overpower negative forces of nature within us and reach stage of enlightenment forever. Unless we took help of our soul atman from within (Lord Krishna existing in our heart), we could never cross ocean of Samsara (worldly life) to reach God in present life!
