Following Krishna means following our true inner self… our soul atman, spirit existing in our heart. We could follow Lord Krishna by indulging in teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita, the sermon given to Arjuna in the battlefield of Mahabharata between Pandavas and Kauravas.
For indulging in Bhagavad Gita one need not convert to Hinduism or come to India ever. Remaining wherever we were… following our religion, faith or belief… we could indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita. The commentaries on Bhagavad Gita with English transliteration, from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India were commendable… could be followed by anyone world over.
We could follow teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita only through path of contemplation, never literally. Contemplation was the only tool to understand gist of scriptures belonging to any religion of world including Bhagavad Gita. Mastering delicate art of contemplation was the biggest problem. Initially indulgence in contemplation seems cumbersome, difficult but with passage of time… we could definitely master art of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning.
