It is an absolute misnomer that all human beings directly evolved from stage of monkeys. In the initial stages of human evolution, that was a possibility… when for the first time human beings directly evolved from stage of monkeys. But in present scenario, we did not have so many monkeys as human beings.
As per Hinduism scriptures primarily Upanishads (independent treatises) human form directly evolved from stage of animals, not necessarily monkeys! If a bird in present life indulged in good karma, there was 100% possibility that in next manifestation, the soul atman of bird would manifest a human form!
