Physicists Believe in God a Rarity

Do physicists believe in God…? No, as science demands proofs that are not forthcoming in the field of pure spirituality. Anything relating to God was based on absolute faith. But while indulging with laws of nature, certain constants were beyond understanding of science.

In 2012, scientists detected Higgs boson, known by its nickname the “God particle”. During the experiment it was revealed Higgs boson had a mass of 125 billion electron-volts, or more than 130 times the mass of the proton. At that mass, as per physicists Higgs boson should have destroyed the universe just after the Big Bang but that did not happen. Why the nickname, “God particle” and not something else.

Inherently all scientists, physicists’ world over desire discovering the identity of God or its representative souls’ atmans! Such a desire would always remain a dream as human beings were not ordained to venture into domain of God Almighty to that extent. It was beyond science to know the identity of a soul atman. More the experimentation, closer would be science to God. But reaching it… impossible!

The entity of God, the world of souls’ atmans can only be realized by an enlightened one like Buddha.
