All my life from six years of age I made my own path, manifesting destiny of my choosing. I never became a slave to my destiny. Indulging in requisite karma, following path of spirituality… yoga meditation I finally cleared spiritual journey to reach God in present life 37 years of age.
At every stage of spiritual life, teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita came to my rescue! Following path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning I could understand everything that Lord Krishna had to say in Bhagavad Gita.
Path of contemplation was necessitated as nothing in Bhagavad Gita becomes clear literally.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana initially started in pursuit of God via path of bhakti yoga that demands total submission to God Almighty. But finding God could not be reached via path of bhakti yoga alone in present Kali Yuga, both finally switched to path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) and nishkama karma yoga to reach God in their lifetime.
What path to follow, which scriptures to read… all was detailed in Hinduism scriptures like Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent treatises)! We only need to take the first step; the journey goes on and on thereafter!
