Hinduism Scriptures explicitly detailed Total Surrender to God as a Path to Gaining Enlightenment

Hinduism scriptures explicitly detailed total surrender to God as a path to gaining enlightenment! Chaitanya Mahaprabhu succeeded in reaching God via total surrender to God.

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana both initially started in search of God via path of bhakti yoga that demands total surrender to God. Finding total surrender to God in present times almost impossible, both finally switched to path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) to gain enlightenment in their lifetime.

In yesteryears total surrender to God was possible, an absolute reality! In the present age of scientific advancements… reaching enlightenment via total surrender to God really was impossible. Total surrender to God means negating our ego to zero (Aham in Hinduism). One needs working like a trustee, caretaker for whom everything all the time belongs to God Almighty. One was only an instrument in hands of God Almighty doing his bidding all the time.

In search of God from six years of age I also unsuccessfully tried indulging in scriptures via path of total surrender to God. I felt, in absence of scriptures I would never make it. Everything contained in scriptures could be followed only via path of jnana yoga never bhakti yoga (path of total surrender to God). Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa surrendered to God in totality. He started seeing God in all.

And then came, a barrage of stones. Whenever he was out of his environs, most in the community mocked him by throwing stones at him. Initially he was totally unperturbed but finally he switched to path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) to relate to God via path of scriptures, never total surrender! Understanding in totality the issues faced by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, from the very beginning I followed path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) along with path of bhakti yoga.

This does not mean I did not negate my ego to zero. Despite total surrender to God via path of nishkama karma yoga, I also indulged in path of jnana yoga to reach God in my lifetime.
