Means to an End justified as per Lord Krishna Bhagavad Gita

In a broader context, when we worked for welfare of entire mankind, all means to an end are justified. If Chanakya (the most able administrator in the history of entire mankind) got hundred Kings eliminated in one night, he did not commit any sin as per Lord Krishna. To save lives of millions of civilians and soldiers if a few are sacrificed then no sin is committed, says Lord Krishna.

Every happening as per Bhagavad Gita must be based on logistics as in the case of Chanakya. We just could not go out and murder someone and say all was justified. Based on altar of dharma (righteousness) if an evil person needs to be eliminated, then Lord Krishna says go ahead and do it for the sake of community or welfare of entire mankind. A very thin line separates morality from what is immoral.
