In all 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita wherever God has been referenced, it points to the ultimate reality… Brahman in Hinduism, the one and only creator of entire cosmos! As per Lord Krishna nothing other than Brahman existed in cosmos. Lord Krishna also emphasizes not to worship various forms of gods and goddesses which were only attributes of God Almighty (Brahman), nothing more.
Lord Krishna exhorts mankind to believe in Brahman, the one and only God Almighty of entire cosmos. It is Brahman that is sought by seekers of spiritual path. In times of extreme strife, tribulation powers of God Almighty manifested through Lord Krishna, an avatar of his era. Lord Krishna was not God Almighty (Brahman) manifesting human form.
