When we entered a search query in Google what happened. Based on our keyword, the search engine returned matching results. Whenever human beings offered a prayer to god asking for something in return, based on their input from the reservoir of mind plus we get results. Everything is predestined, preprogrammed… automated from the point of origin of cosmos.
God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism) was not the form of human beings who indulged in day-to-day routines of life. The collective power of all souls’ atmans in cosmos in their pure form is what we called God Almighty. This magnanimous primordial cosmic energy size of half a thumb always remained inert, inactive… acting as a Dhrishta (onlooker) all the time.
All my life I indulged in prayers that were directed towards benefit of mankind. Not for a single moment in life I indulged in prayers directed towards my personal benefit, or those of family members. I do not remember if even one single prayer of mine went unanswered. Prayers were never a one-way medium. If we ask something of God, we must be prepared to give something in return.
Primarily prayers were meant for welfare of mankind at large, must never be used for personal self!
