In Hinduism scriptures spirit denotes consciousness existing in our heart. Spirit also stands for soul atman existing in our heart. It is presence of soul atman, consciousness in our heart that was cause of life on mother earth. In absence of spirit, soul atman within no life form could exist in cosmos. Our belief in world of souls’ atmans, God Almighty was necessitated to understand the world of spirit.
To realize this spirit, one needs traveling path of spirituality. As detailed in scriptures of Hinduism we were primarily a spirit, a soul atman on its cosmic life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations that entailed an earthly journey of about 96.4 million years. The whole purpose of spiritual life was reaching this spirit existing in our heart. The reality of spiritual world can be realized by indulging in scriptures, sacred texts of different religions of world. Nothing in world of spirits could be known through limited parameters of science. The domain of God, spirits was far beyond capture of science.
