Mankind indulged in two pursuits of life… spiritual or materialistic! We could say, a spiritual goal of life was the best but even a materialistic trend was not wrong. If a human being went after money, wealth… one just could never be wrong! After all there were wealthy people in this world who cared for mankind… served entire mankind through their philanthropic interests in life.
If we went after money, wealth only to hoard it, we would be bitterly disappointed at all stages of life! If we were pure in our heart, if we wanted to earn money for the sake of self and also mankind… there should not be worry of any kind!
Taking example of Bill Gates, he is definitely a wealthy man. Is his pursuit of life spiritually wrong? Being a spiritual person I could say with utmost confidence that Bill Gates was not wrong from any spiritual angle. Billions of people worldwide benefited from his discovery of Windows program. Bill Gates also indulges in philanthropic activities.
Greed is where people hoard money, wealth for the next manifestation! If we go after money to the extent of our requirement, we are not in wrong! Only if we make money as our goal of life, were we wrong! Money was only a means to an end, never an end in itself! This is the point where most Indians went wrong. They hoard wealth, money beyond their genuine requirements.
