God (Brahman in Hinduism) does not play any role in physical manifest life. It always acts as Dhrishta (onlooker), never interfering with creation of his!
What do laws of karma say… as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more! One who indulges in prayers will reap fruits of karma as per karma indulged. Prayers form part of karma. As our indulgence, accordingly manifests our present, future!
Most prayers to God go unanswered. Everything was automatic. As our prayer, accordingly the manifestation! Prayers were never a one-sided medium. Prayers worked only when we worked for welfare of entire mankind, never the individual self!
Seekers indulged in prayers as for them the entire mankind were children of God Almighty. In serving mankind… they were indirectly serving God Almighty all the time!
Nothing in scriptures of Hinduism could be followed literally, it demands reading in between the lines through path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning!
