Everything contained in scriptures of different religions of world was forbidden knowledge… something that could not be understood literally. To reach the hidden underlying meaning of sacred texts, our indulgence in contemplation… introspection, logical reasoning was necessitated.
The knowledge was forbidden as long as we failed to reach the hidden inner meaning. Once the inner meaning unveiled before us… nothing remains we called forbidden.
Everything contained in scriptures of Hinduism like Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent treatises)… Vedas (Hinduism revelations) was forbidden… beyond understanding of commoners, masses. Only a serious seeker, traveler of spiritual path finally succeeds in unveiling the meaning of hidden texts.
Everything contained in Bible, Quran was forbidden knowledge, beyond reach of commoners. Most interpretations available in the market were literal, having nothing to do with the original text. The inner meaning of sacred texts contained in Bible and Quran can be realized only through path of contemplation.
