The original text of religious doctrines always remains the same but interpretation changes with time. If in times of Lord Krishna a battle was fought with bows and arrows does not mean we literally interpret the texts in that light and go to fight our enemies in present times with bows and arrows. Based on scientific advancements of present times all scriptures must be interpreted accordingly.
