Reaching stage of enlightenment announces full awakening of kundalini shakti. Mahavira did it, so did Gautama Buddha. Jesus Christ did it and so did Prophet Mohammed. In the last about 150 years both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana, succeeded in full awakening of their kundalini shakti. In the entire history of mankind in erstwhile Bharatvarsha (now India) thousands of men reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation moksha.
Lord Krishna was an avatar of his era whose kundalini awakened when young may be 2 to 4 years!
