Motivation Improve Concentration Meditation

To improve concentration one must go to the nearest bookstore and get a copy of Jonathan Livingston Seagull a story by Richard Bach. We would never regret the purchase. Go through this book not once but many times. We would get the answer to the problem… How to increase concentration! The above book Jonathan Livingston Seagull a story by Richard Bach is Bhagavad Gita miniaturized. It contained true essence of Bhagavad Gita. We truly need becoming a seagull in our life.

Most human beings always ran after results, never the journey. Students were more concerned about marks they scored than wisdom gained. Same is the case here. When one reached level 98, we quit. At 100°C water converted to steam, never before. We have to rethink the strategy, gain total access to our inherent willpower. Control over willpower can be exercised only by subduing our ego (Aham in Hinduism).

Our last moment failure indicates lack of enough willpower at the last moment. Success most of time demands repetition. If you fail once try it again. If you fail again try it again. Do not give in unless you succeed. Do not care what people say or do. You cared more for what community would say than yourself. It is our life… if we fail, it is our failure and if we succeed, it is our success.

All my life from six years of age I worked best under extreme pressure. In absence of external pressures life becomes meaningless. If there was only happiness in this world, life would become monotonous… decay and die. It is only in our sufferings, we recognized true value of happiness. How many people remembered God in times of happiness?

Furthermore, 100% faith in God Almighty was necessitated to exercise willpower to its extreme. I have done it all my life. From six years of age my faith in God Almighty was absolute, never dwindling with time. Going with the flow, we must never hanker after results. Work like a true karma Yogi, never worrying about fruits of karma performed. Truly life is a journey, never a destination. Believe in self and we shall finally succeed with flying colors. Do not count failures but efforts again and again.
