Jain Muni Shri Pulak Sagar

A spiritual teacher, master is supposed to deliver messages from God following which human beings reached stage of enlightened (kaivalya jnana). Mahavira 24th Tirthankara of Jainism rightly said; do not preach unless you become an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina. Still, religious and spiritual saints in India keep preaching half baked theories to gullible mankind. To what avail!

Born in a Jain family since six years of age I had many queries. No matter how best I tried none of the elders or members of community in temples could explain to me hidden precepts of life. My queries remaining unsolved I started following path of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. The moment I learnt Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana reached stage of enlightenment in their lifetime, I followed their teachings in Toto.

Gradually the queries within me started dissolving one by one. I have attended many lectures of so-called religious and spiritual saints only to return empty-handed. Those who had yet to gain enlightenment how can they preach teachings of spirituality. Path of religion (rituals) never led one to God Almighty. To reach God in present life I followed path of spirituality detailed in Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads.

There was nothing more pure in this world than teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. The 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita were full of jnana wisdom, sufficient to reach stage of enlightenment in present life. I have followed this path all my life. Initially difficult to assimilate but teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita can be easily understood following path of contemplation, self enquiry… logical reasoning!
