Prompted by a bloated ego (Aham in Hinduism), mesmerized by glare of worldly riches human beings indulged in materialistic goals of life rather than traveling path of pure spirituality. At any given point of life any of the two was dominating… our ego or voice of our true inner self, soul atman existing in heart. Subduing ego in totality, following voice of our true inner self human beings finally succeed in reaching stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation.
