Holy Numbers 108 in Hinduism 786 in Islam

From beginning of life I did not believe in religious practices (rituals). All rituals were necessitated in yesteryears when spirituality was still in its nascent stages. After evolution of spirituality the need to worship God, indulging in religious practices was practically a waste of time. Most who indulged in religious practices feared god! Travelers of spiritual path never feared God… indulging in spirituality, yoga meditation they finally realized God in their lifetime.

Psychologically sometimes religious/holy numbers like 108 in Hinduism seemed meaningful but after contemplation, everything loses meaning! If we truly desire knowing God in our lifetime… we must concentrate more on path of spirituality than religious practices… holy numbers etc.

I am a great believer of holy numbers like 3, 6 and 9. I am attached to these numbers from the beginning of life. The number 3 would play a great role in my life but on account of that I could not stop myself from indulging in my part of karma. In present Kali Yuga indulgence in karma was an absolute must, everything else becomes secondary including religious practices.
