Prayers, worship must always be offered to God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism), never enlightened souls! The most we could do was seek grace of enlightened souls! After reaching stage of enlightenment a liberated soul atman could travel to any part of cosmos at will. We could invoke blessings of enlightened souls any given moment of life.
From 15 years of age I indulged in self enquiry, Neti lying in shavasna pose of yoga as practiced and advocated by Maharishi Ramana. Whenever I had a query I wanted to clarify from Maharishi Ramana, lying in shavasna pose of yoga I entered into a personal conference with Maharishi Ramana. In the morning when I got up, my query within had dissolved forever.
Everything stated by all enlightened souls, was never accepted by me on face value. I tested each and every statement on altar of truth through path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning! If we indulged in teachings of Maharishi Ramana the right way, we would realize the hidden inner meaning! Indulging in contemplation, I could realize… understand every single saying of Maharishi Ramana!
In my spiritual pursuit of life, I almost duplicated path undertaken by Maharishi Ramana!
