Indian Gods and Goddesses Hinduism the Abstract Reality

How did mankind particularly people in India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha) came to know who was God (Brahman in Hinduism)? When some sages and saints in yester era reached epitome of human evolution they invoked words of God in form of Vedas (Hinduism revelations). But these massive and voluminous sacred texts were beyond reach of commoners, masses. It was beyond capability of masses to conceptualize the one and only God, Brahman in Hinduism.

To solve this issue, religious teachers and preachers of different times evolved stories around Brahman, the one and only God, creator of all things cosmic. The concept of Brahman was beyond conceptualization of these so-called religious teachers or preachers. They created myriads of theories, stories which are now termed as Hinduism mythology. With passage of time evolved 330 million gods in Hinduism alone. For every ritual there was a separate God.

People experiencing discomfort due to excessive rains, tried to appease God Varuna, a pure manifestation of God Almighty, Brahman in Hinduism. Those suffering extreme cold tried to appease Sun god. Those affected by winds or thunderstorms prayed to Vayu Devta, a manifest form of God Almighty. In reality they were not manifestations but only attributes of God Almighty. Even Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, part of Hindu Trinity were attributes of God Almighty, nothing more.

Whatever the level of conceptualization accordingly the prayers! In Hinduism people worshipped trees, rivers, even a big rock or stone considering it as a manifestation, attribute of God. As they could not directly reach or conceptualize Brahman… they indulged in all sort of rituals propagated by so-called religious teachers, preachers of different times. Hindu mythology is purely a creation of religious practitioners who for sake of their bread-and-butter spread half baked theories to gullible mankind.

Everything about Brahman is detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism which is available for mere Rs. 40/= ($.60), that too with English or Hindi transliteration from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India. How many people world over reached God by indulgence in Bhagavad Gita? In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana finally succeeded in reaching God via path of jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom).

The essence of life lay not in reading sacred texts but understanding the hidden underlying meaning. For this, our indulgence in path of contemplation, path of logical reasoning, path of self enquiry was mandated by God. Most people world over feared travelling spiritual path, prime reason why they indulged in path of religion (path of rituals). It was an absolute misnomer that travelling spiritual path everything material would be left behind. One can become a perfect Yogi even while living in family life.

As per Bhagavad Gita the highest status of a Yogi has been given to one who reached God while living in family. In family life it is difficult to travel path of pure spirituality, but not impossible. Our undertaking spiritual journey may directly or indirectly hurt some family members but on path of pure spirituality some sacrifices have to be made. In practical life we never gained anything unless we indulged in hard work, sincerely and diligently. Sufferings and happiness were two sides of the same coin.

If we are a close-knit family, we can always clarify our stand to various family members. I have done it all my life. I started in search of God 13 years of age. 25 years of yoga meditation I finally realized God, realized self in the wee hours of third of August 1993 at 37 years of age. This is my last manifestation on mother earth, 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. Nothing to achieve more, nowhere to go further, moment I leave my mortal frame I shall but attain salvation moksha forever.

In my spiritual travel, when I completed my engineering from the best engineering Institute of the country, when I got married, had children was all part of life. My ultimate goal of life always remained reaching God in present life. As my faith in God Almighty was absolute… I finally completed my cosmic journey forever.

Bhagavad Gita clearly says we must indulge in Brahman, the one and only God and never attributes of God Almighty. But how many people world over followed this absolute fact of life?
