Indulging in Yoga Meditation Path of Contemplation

Yoga is derived from root word yog which in Hinduism stood for effort of soul atman wanting to merge with God Almighty (Brahman) at the earliest. Yoga must never be confused with a set of yogic exercises called asanas. Indulgence in Yoga means… indulging in contemplation, logical reasoning… following path of spirituality to reach hidden underlying cosmic truths of life contained in sacred text of different religions of world.

Meditation primarily means indulging in contemplation, logical reasoning to reach end goal of life… 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. Both yoga and meditation meant the same.

Since six years of age I indulged in yoga meditation via path of contemplation, logical reasoning to reach god. Precepts of yoga meditation were absolutely clear to me at six years of age. Must have done something in past lives that at a very young age in present life I understood most precepts of spirituality! At that young age I just did not believe what people said or did. I also did not believe in scriptures blindly.

Via path of contemplation I always tested each and every scriptural statement to reach hidden cosmic truth of life. In this effort of mine I was all the time supported by my 100% faith in God all the time. I was also 100% truthful from six years of age. This helped me hear the sweet small promptings of my soul atman that seemed to come from within my heart. Guided by voice of my soul atman I started my pursuit of god. Indulging in yoga meditation… path of spirituality became my pastime.

Even while walking, jogging… swimming, studying… even indulging in sports and business I indulged in contemplation at the first available opportunity. Since six years of age I never got bored in life. I was all the time meditating on god. I just wanted to reach God in present life. I was prepared for any sacrifice God asked of me. My determination from six years of age was at its peak. Even if God Almighty came disguised to sway me from path of yoga meditation, spirituality… I would have not.

Indulgence in yoga meditation is a lifetime job. God Almighty ordained human beings reaching stage of enlightenment after crossing 1.1 million manifestations in human form… a long journey indeed! However, if we seriously desired reaching God in present life… we had to do something drastic. This became possible by practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation. Imagine reaching stage of enlightenment by taking the normal route… 1.1 million steps. What if we get a super elevator that zooms to the top in no time? This super elevator was practice of celibacy for 12 years in continuation.

For indulging in meditation yoga we do not require going to a meditation retreat, meditation camp or even a meditation yoga studio. They were all commercial enterprises knowing nothing about meditation yoga. When yoga meditation could be indulged sitting in confines of home… why go elsewhere or look forward to going to Himalayas for indulging in contemplation, logical reasoning… self enquiry (path of Neti… not this, not this). Following path of contemplation I took above 30 years to reach god… become a pure soul atman forever! Path of yoga meditation, spirituality is not that easily traveled. I do not remember how many times I had to eat hell for breakfast… how many contemplations of suicide. I do not write this to dissuade people from traveling path of spirituality… yoga meditation.

The goal of yoga meditation was reaching god. One who can seriously indulge in contemplation was competent to undertake spiritual journey to reach God in ones lifetime.
