Although life supporting planets like mother earth existed in various parts of cosmos but travel from one part of cosmos to another was prohibited by God. Only a liberated soul atman could venture into any part of cosmos at will. This became possible when human beings gained enlightenment and finally moksha salvation. Until reaching stage of enlightenment, our soul atman remains confined to solar system.
After death of human body based on residual balance of karma at the time of death our soul atman manifests a new body. It was never a matter of personal choice, all was based on inscrutable laws of karma… as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more! After death of human form our soul atman immediately manifests a new body. This circle of life continues unabated until human beings reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle.
The moment human beings reached stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation, the liberated soul atman becomes free from bondage of solar system forever. The most a human being could become was a man god like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.
